FLAGDOWN 5 is an Antibiotic agent for the treatment of Coccidiosis, Fowl Typhoid, Fowl Cholera, Salmonellosis and Colibacillosis in chicken, turkeys, swine, calves, kids and lambs.
How Coccidiosis Affects your flock
Coccidiosis is a contagious enteritis that affects domestic animals including poultry, pigs, lambs, kids and calves. It is much more common in poultry and affects all ages and breeds. Most outbreaks occur early in the life of the bird and mortality rates vary from outbreak to outbreak and can be high if the appropriate medication measures are not strategically applied. The disease is also characterized by diarrhea, low growth rates/stunted growth and reduced production.

- Flagdown 5 is active against all important Eimeria species affecting poultry. Due to its excellent efficacy, infected birds show rapid recovery.

Water medication is the route of choice when treating large numbers of birds, especially when appetite is depressed due to disease water medication allows for rapid absorption and attainment of high blood and tissue drug concentrations resulting in rapid onset of treatment effect.
Administration and Dosage
For oral administration via feed or drinking water.
- Poultry: 1g per 1.5litres of drinking water for 5days.
- Lambs, kids, calves and swine: 1 g per 10 - 12 kg body weight for 5 days.
Mixed with feed, the product should be used immediately. Medicated drinking water should be used within 24 hours.
