CHICK-PRO
Seeding of beneficial microflora from Day 1 is an ideal strategy for healthy gut microflora balance & stability in keeping an eye on the overall health of your birds.
CHICK-PRO is a blend of beneficial bacteria that work to reduce early chick mortality, pasty vent, improve host nutrition and reduce wet droppings

MODE OF ACTION
Competitive Exclusion
- Good adhesion to the gut wall, preventing pathogens binding
- Colonisation of the gut wall with beneficial bacterias
Antibacterial Action
- Production of antibacterial substances (Bacteriocins such as Subtilisin, Lactocidin, Acidophillin & Enterocin)
- Action against common pathogens including E. Coli, C. perfingens and Salmonella spp.
- Production of organic acids reducing pathogen count
Immunomodulation
- Increases the number of intestinal mucosa cells secreting immunoglobulins
- Facilitates antigen transport to underlying lymphoid cells ensuring a faster immune reaction to disease causing bacteria

INDICATION
CHICK-PRO is recommended for:
- Newly hatched chicks ............. For first 7 days
- Early chick mortality ................ For 5 consecutive days after first sign is detected
- Wet droppings .......................... For 5 consecutive days after first sign is detected
- Pasty vent .................................... For 5 consecutive days after first sign is detected
- Feed changes ............................ For 3 consecutive days
ADMINSTRATION
Through drinking water
- Mix 1g in 2 Litres of water per day (20g sachet in 40 Litres of water is enough for 1000 chicks/day)
- Administer for 7 days for the day old chicks and 5 days per month thereafter as a feed compliment
Spray
- Dissolve 100gm Chick-Pro in 2 litres of clean water and spray on 5000 chicks immediately after hatching and on arrival at the farm or as advised by registered veterinarian
