A MULTI ENZYME FORMULA WITH EXTRA EFFICIENCY
ENZYMES IN POULTRY
The biggest single expense in any system of poultry production is feed accounting for up to 70% of total production cost per bird.
A substantial amount of Nutrients in poultry feed is non-available for birds because they are locked with NSPs and other anti-nutritional factors.
Poultry do not produce enzymes for the hydrolysis of non starch polysaccharides (NSPs) present in the cell wall of the grains.
Insufficient secretion needs supplementation of exogenous enzymes to support digestion.
The 2 types of Enzymes are :
- Endogenous enzymes - produced by the bird (Amylase, Lipase, Trypsin, Peptidase, Lactase)
- Exogenous enzymes - not produced by the bird and require to be supplemented in feed (Cellulose, Amylase, pectinase, Arabinase, Phytase, Lipase, Protease, Xylanase)

Superiority of Multi enzyme combination:
Feed comprises of various ingredients/substrates. Because enzymes are highly specific for the reactions they catalyze, it is beneficial to add a mixture of different enzymes to the feed in order to be able to breakdown several unfavourable substances at the same time.
Thermostability :
Enerzyme is found stable even after incubating at 100 degrees celcius for 1.5 minutes.
This feature can help in preparing pellet type feed.
