BEETROOT | DETROIT DARK RED
- Dark red, sweet beetroot with a prolific leaf canopy
- The taproot develops into a sweet, globeshaped bulb, very rich in nutrients
- The internal colour is deep red
- The beet is suitable for canning and picking
- Matures in 70-85 days after planting
- The seeds can be sown directly at a spacing of 30cm x 5cm
- Yield potential is 10-13 tonnes per acre under the recommended agronomic practices
